How I Celebrated
Ok guys. I didn't look up a recipe again. I just grabbed a can of Pilsbury's Grands and tried to roll it out (it was super hard). Then I spread a bunch of butter and cinnamon sugar, and popped them in the oven. They taste fine, don't worry it wasn't a disaster! However, they aren't really sticky, and could have used a ton more cinnamon sugary sweetness on top. Oh well, I put on some Nutella and got my fat kid on!
Diet Helpers
Sugar Free
Here are a few recipes I found for cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy. They still have added sweetener like honey or coconut sugar, so depending on what you like to use, you will have to substitute accordingly or find another recipe.Gluten Free
See above for recipes. Both sticky buns and biscuits are what you need to find substitutions for. Even the gravy contains flour most of the time.
Vegetarian
Make sure you use a vegetable or mushroom gravy with your biscuits.

History
PunchbowlOne of the few things I remember my mom making from scratch. Desserts were usually mixes for us. She did not make them very often. Nate is lucky one of his family Christmas traditions was to get Cinnabon. I don't even know the first time I had Cinnabon. High school? I LOVE CINNAMON. Anyhow, it says that "Schnecken" were/ are considered a Philadelphia specialty.
