How I Celebrated

So, we made a kind of ambrosia salad because heavenly hash can be one of three things: basically a fruit salad, rocky road in its many forms (ice cream, candy, etc), or hash browns (not as common).
I mixed an orange jell-o mix with whipped topping and plain yogurt. Then all the fruits- mandarin oranges, pineapple, coconut, and mango slices. Don't forget the marshmallows! This is probably the best one I have had. People usually go for lime or cherry jello. Also, they do the fruit cocktail which has cherries, peaches, pears, and green grapes. Mine is the bomb. And if you think that it is too easy, I also had some leftover hash browns from the big breakfast we made yesterday with all the scrambled eggs I had left over from the meringue (cause I suck at separating eggs). WOOT. I'm also working on the carrot cake for tomorrow! It's gonna be yum!

Oh yeah, didn't go for the crepes today. So much stuff going on.

• Sugar Free

  You can buy some pre made sugar free heavenly hash like this, or try your hand at your own. I didn't find any recipes, but if you make or get sugar free chocolate and marshmallows, you are basically there. Or do the fruit salad version (it looks like people use heavenly hash as a name for the fruit salad with marshmallows)
  
  This recipe for sugar free crepes looks just like a scrambled egg recipe... so i guess you can call a flat cake of egg a crepe.

• Gluten Free

  Here is a recipe for gluten free crepes (just use gluten free flour)
  
  Most heavenly hash is gluten free, but here is a gluten free heavenly hash ice cream recipe just cause

• Vegetarian

  yes and yes, unless you are closer to vegan, here is a recipe without eggs

History

I thought that heavenly hash was  the corn beef hash with hash browns. Guess not. I also wonder how someone tried to make a crepe because they are so thin, you would think they would super stick to the cooking surface.
