How I Celebrated
Tortellini was one of those foods that I pretty much knew what it was before I even had it the first time (this was not the first time). It was pretty expensive and not very easy to find (Nate calculated to be what, around $8/lb? Freaking more than salmon! and pasta is supposed to be cheap...). Well we got it and it was pretty tasty. I like me some cheese filled pasta.
Diet Helpers
Sugar Free
Check your store bought tortellini to make sure the fillings to not contain sugar. If you make your own, either make your own pasta, or some people recommend using wonton wrappers for a quick fix.Gluten Free
Either make your own or try someone else's like De Puma's
Vegetarian
Personally, cheese tortellini is just fine with me! Again, watch the fillings.

History
PunchbowlI don't think I have ordered tortellini at a restaurant, but I have had the kind from I think Costco. Pretty tasty. Weird to think there are so many different styles of pasta and they all have different names. I mean just the noodles. Like different cuts of noodles. I don't know that I can think of anything else that is like that.
Merchandise
