How I Celebrated

After a big pie yesterday (it was a splurge), we kept it simple with some nutter butters. Ill have to try lobster thermidor another day.

Diet Helpers 

• Sugar Free

  It is really hard to find store bought peanut butter that has no sugar added. Believe me, I have looked. Once we tried soy nut butter as an alternative. It pretty much tastes like edamame, so not bad, but not a peanut butter substitute.
  Lobster Thermidor is a savory dish so it is not likely that you will have sugar in it.

• Gluten Free

  Both are generally gluten free, always check recipes and manufacturers labels.

• Vegetarian

  I'm sure vegetarians love to get their protein from peanuts. Lobster is an animal, so maybe not a good choice. Although, I have heard some do not consider shellfish to be "meat"

History

I really want to know where punchbowl got its info about the preferences of peanut butter types based on gender. They got me all wrong. Everyone knows that extra crunchy is the best.

Lobster clothing is so cute, but I still am scared to touch live lobsters and crabs!

• Here is a fancy place to eat lobster in LA... but where would you eat lobster that wasn't spendy?

• Looks like there was a shop in Studio City that did peanut butter stuff, but they are... still moving? Their peanut butter is still available for purchase though.
