How I Celebrated

I might make blondies later today for Nate to try because he has never had them. When I got home, Nate had made some tasty grits and biscuits and gravy! If you know me, you know I love gravy. And carbs. And bad food. So it was a great thing to come home to. We got a frozen biscuit dough pack from the dollar store, a gravy mix pack also at the dollar store and I am not sure where we got the grits from. Maybe big lots? If he had not made the food before I got here, I would have tried something crazy I came up with to get two more elements of the southern food in there. I wanted to try making the grits into balls and frying them (cause they fry everything in the south right?) and then dip them in BBQ sauce cause barbecue is a southern thing too, right? I have no idea. My grandma would be quite disappointed (well, that wouldn't be the first time either hashtag rebel heart hashtag not Madonna). Happy National blonde brownies day and southern food day!

 I don't think that blondies can win my heart over like brownies do. What can I say, Im just into that chocolate. Did you know they have KFC in China? They serve noodle bowls there. Also, their chicken nuggets have corn kernels in them.
