April 13

How I Celebrated

So the peach cobbler that Nate made in the crock pot was super delicious. He warned me that it was runny because the recipe called for pie filling and not just canned peaches like we used. I should have just made a thicker pie filling for him with cornstarch and sugar so that wouldn't be a problem, but it did have a more mushy consistency. I would probably compare it to a cake pop consistency so it isn't gross, just not what you would expect for a peach cobbler.

History

 Punchbowl
Cobbler to me is a church food or camp food that people made in dutch ovens. I definitely have not had it in quite a long time.
