How I Celebrated

We finally used up the rest of our huge jar of artichoke hearts. Super worth it by the way. Nate is an awesome cook. That dip was just too freaking delicious.

History

Punchbowl
I did not know artichokes were related to sunflowers. They do look like flowers. The first time I ever cooked and ate an artichoke was with my hubby. New experiences all the time with that one. I think it is weird that you can eat whole artichoke hearts, but that you have to scrape off the edible parts with your teeth cause the "leaves" are scales

They are a very pretty plant! Maybe try to grow some!
