How I Celebrated

Got some yum at Rodini Park. I actually just ate some of Nate's gyro cause I got a salad (yeah, look at me eating veggies and stuff). SO GOOD. Also, the popovers didn't really pop over, but you know they were still tasty cause the cherries were not candied. They weren't really fresh either cause they were from a can. My question today is how did they not have any cherries in store when cherry season ended... yesterday? Nate said August was the end. WHATEVER food calendar, you don't make any sense.

Diet Helpers

  • Sugar Free

This video is a sugar free cherry popover recipe.
  • Gluten Free

The above recipe is also gluten free for popovers. You will need to make or buy gluten free naan or pita bread for the gyros.
  • Vegetarian

Gyros are usually made with lamb, but there are other options. Here is a vegetarian one.

History

Punchbowl
I did not know melatonin was in cherries. Wouldn't that be a poor choice for breakfast then?
