How I Celebrated

To avoid eating too much (and because I like to make things simple), I combined the peach pie and waffle idea and made peach pie waffles. I doctored up the canned peach pie mix with some water and spices like cinnamon and nutmeg and cloves. That plus whipped cream on waffles was pretty darn tasty. BUT I was super disappointed by my waffle maker which made a huge mess and the waffles were not crisp on the outside. Quite upsetting.
