Bagels and cream cheese are hard to make go wrong. That "noodle ring" on the other hand... I don't get it. Way to ruin pasta.

So I just read about a noodle ring. What is the purpose of molding noodles into a ring? A bagel is already in a ring shape. I get that. But, noodles? At first I was thinking it was going to be spaghetti o's.
