December 31

How I Celebrated

I finally did it! The year is over! So, what did I learn? Some of the holidays I absolutely don't get. Some of the food is awful and should not be celebrated. I don't know why there are mostly desserts. I found a way to commit to doing something EVERY SINGLE DAY for a year. Planning even one food item a day every day is pretty tough. I think I have a lazy eye after watching all my videos. This project ended up being not as fun as I thought it would be so all the quality went down and the extras on my page were limited. Still, not bad for not even having planned much before starting. I think money is a huge factor, some things are so expensive, and if I had more money to order everything at restaurants, that would have saved the stress and time of making things as well. Good luck to anyone else that attempts it, I would recommend going for healthier versions of food because you will get sugared out!

History

There was already a champagne day, but then people always drink champagne on New Years. So why does the last day of the year get to make sense, but everything else is so screwed up?

How I Celebrated

Nate made the pepper pot in the crock pot while I was sleeping. A great aroma when I woke up and a super super good soup that I wouldn't mind having all winter.

December 27

How I Celebrated

I really hate fruit cake and I didn't want to waste so many ingredients so I made a fruit flavored cake. Not as holiday themed, but seriously delicious and so it won't go to waste! MANGO

History

Punchbowl
The dreaded fruitcake. I think people need to just give away like mini mini loaves. Cause maybe a small taste will keep you in the holiday spirit, but other than that I think they get thrown out.

So much candy cane stuff, but it isn't even close to my favorite peppermint candy. I prefer the peppermint Andes.
