How I Celebrated

Finally put some old gift cards to use and went to Starbucks for my beloved captain crunch frappe. The girl didn't make it right, but I was still a happy camper. Frappe all day!

History

I did not really ever think about where noodles first came from. I thought that maybe they evolved separately because noodles in Asia seem very different than the Italian pasta variety. All are quite delicious. Noodles also seem to be more widely spread in Asia.

How I Celebrated

Nate surprised me by being home before me and having this delicious dessert made! Unfortunately I had to end the deliciousness with a bite of kale for kale day. I will say that the strong grassy taste of kale cuts right through the sweetness of the dessert so if you are looking for something to set your taste buds straight, that would be the answer.

How I Celebrated

We only found what is in the video. Scallops are only seen around once in a while. We made some pretty tasty seafood pasta though. It was inspired by the garlicky shrimp pasta video people on my facebook have been posting from Delish.

How I Celebrated

We still have strawberry cream pie left over so we didn't want to make more dessert. Today being vegetarian day, I did a pretty good job at breakfast since we made a date morning out of our early Home Depot run by going to a diner. My omelette and hashbrowns and pancakes were all vegetarian! I don't have video of it, but I do have one of me eating a carrot! HAPPY OCTOBER!!!

Cookies are a good reason to keep experimenting in the kitchen. You never know what you will come up with. I have thought about being vegetarian for multiple benefits, but I also do not want to miss out on meat. I would miss it so much. Vegetables make me so sad even though my body would probably thank me.
