We had some peanuts on hand, so I grabbed some. Also, we grabbed a watermelon yesterday at random and I have to say, we picked a pretty good one. And what is up with tiny personal watermelons having the same price as a giant watermelon? Dumb.

How I Celebrated

Welcome to August everyone! The time seems to be moving faster than I can and I'm not as ahead as I used to be.  Today, I think I was expecting something more like raspberry cheesecake, but it ended up being more tart and not so creamy. The crumble was kind of a lot and Nate decided to substitute the walnuts with peanuts so it kinda tasted like a PB&J. I'm selling it a bit short, it wasn't bad, just not at all what I was expecting.

Cheesecake is one of those weird things that I really loved as a kid, making it from the no bake mixes quite often for our Sunday dessert. How I Celebrated

Luckily we had some quick hamburger helper lasagna that we used ground chicken in instead of hamburger. Then, we made "boneless wings" with some dino nuggets and chili wing sauce (SO GOOD but kinda spicy). We had a cheese sampler for sacrifice cheese purchase day, but you know, we don't have mice so we didn't have to sacrifice it.

  Make sure to get gluten free pasta for lasagna and be careful of flour batters or sauce thickening try this recipe

I found some chocolate kisses so that was perfect for milk chocolate day. Between hamburgers and chili dogs, we decided to only have one because having both would have been a little too much.
