Again with the Monster brew. Bleh. But coffee cake, man I love streusel. I think we used a food.com recipe that had no shortening involved. Sweet and simple!

How I Celebrated

Oh man. Sugar overload. Just one twinkie and a small handfull of popcorn was enough! I got a sticker as a prize in my cracker jacks (which is better than a maggot that I found the last time I had them years ago! GROSS) lol Happy times!

How I Celebrated

There was a lot to do and a lot to eat. I already had pizza this weekend so I couldn't do it again. And well, I didn't want to spend time making raisin spice bars I probably wouldn't eat  :P Caramel is the easy choice!

Diet Helpers 

• Sugar Free

  Pizza for the most part is okay, just watch out for the crust and sauce because there is often sugar added to those parts. Here are a few recipes for sugar free caramel. Here is a recipe for spice bars, you will have to add raisins to your liking because this recipe does not call for any.

• Gluten Free

  Here is a deep dish pizza recipe. Caramel will be fine. Like the above recipe, it is an applesauce spice bar recipe. No gluten free spice bar recipes have shown up on my searches (at least that do not contain pumpkin) So, perhaps you can use a gluten free flour substitute.

• Vegetarian

  Make sure you have a veggie pizza and the rest is all gravy.

Poor man's cordon bleu. Get some frozen chicken strips, stack them with some cheese and wrap with deli ham. Microwave from 3-5 min and voila!

We made some quick mousse from vanilla pudding mix, milk, nutella, and whipped topping. It is pretty rich so you do not need much to satisfy your sugar craving!

How I Celebrated

I had a nice quick peanut butter and jelly sandwich with, of course, the best CRUNCHY peanut butter and raspberry jam! All that could have made it better was if it was on fresh baked bread (that wheat bread was kinda dry). Great snack for my busy day!
