How I Celebrated

Oh man. I need to have cotton candy more often. You know, I go back to eating candy I thought I liked and a lot of times now it ends up being too much, or too little, or too waxy. It could be that the companies are changing recipes, I don't really know. But this cotton candy was everything I expected and more. Such a good day.

How I Celebrated

It was a little strange to me to have 1, a cold soup, 2 something like salsa with a lot more variety of vegetables, and 3 very inconsistently chopped and blended veggies. (NO thanks to the blender that does not work well as a food processor).

How I Celebrated

I was sure that following everyone's suggestions would help make my cake more dense. Not so with cake mix! I added the pudding mix and the extra egg and buttermilk instead of water! To no avail. Still very cakey. Much too sweet. This cake was super super rich even eating with sour cream on the side. I need a ton of people to come over and eat this thing cause I am telling you, you will only be able to handle a sliver. Oh, and leftover mac and cheese for my comfort food.

Zucchini fritters look like they taste good, but I have not mastered fried foods at home. Everything sticks to the damn pan. The insides are still goo. I know I can turn down the heat... I just do not have patience for this!!!!

Well, we don't know if the boxed pie was fried or not. I only took one bite anyways because I am not a fan of those pies anymore. The apple was really good though! I think it was a pink lady.
